Join us and the Friends of Woodfords Corner at Third Thursdays at Trinity Park! Receive a special gift from Benchmark, sample local food and drinks, buy from local vendors, and enter to win a number of gift cards to local businesses. We’ll also be unveiling our new Benchmark Box, popping up across the city this summer and fall to celebrate local neighborhoods and support local events and charities. Visit this www.a694c.cn/box to find out where it will be next.

Trinity Episcopal Church and volunteers with the Maine Access Immigrant Network will be collecting items to create home kits for new Mainers, including recent asylum seekers. Donate an item at the event and be entered to win $200 to the Woodford’s Corner business of your choice! Just check in with us at the Benchmark Box to enter to win.

                About Woodford's Corner

Today, Woodford's Corner meets at the intersection of the Portland neighborhoods of Back Cove, Deering Center, and Oakdale. Although now part of Portland, it was part of the town of Falmouth until 1814, part of the town of Westbrook (then Saccarappa) until the area seceded to become the town of Deering in 1871, and then Portland when Deering was annexed by the City in 1899. For more on the history of Woodford's Corner, visit the Friends of Woodford's Corner page.
